The name suits them
These sheets are really really nice. I treated myself to a set because I was tired of buying new sheets every two years. They feel great and sturdy. Very cooling in the summertime. I will post an update in a year or two if I remember but for now I absolutely love them and hope their durability is as good as it seems like it will be.
Love these sheets
I have bought things from the Good Sheet for several years now and have always been happy with them. I did try another brand, but decided to come back. They are great quality, really comfortable and last.
Actually fit my bed!
The fitted sheet is generous, even for a deep mattress with a topper. I don’t have to fight with the last corner when changing the bed. Great quality cotton sheets which are far more comfortable than bamboo.

Go the GOOD Sheet
I was excited to find this sheet online and looked forward to getting them on my bed.
I was not disappointed.
The colour - sage - soft yet strong, neutral but a great personality.
The sizing - 50cm deep - At last no bottom sheet riding up the mattress.
The feel - Supple enough to snuggle but firm enough to feel as though they are sound and exceptionally well woven. A good luxurious sheet.
The weight - heavy enough to feel secure but light enough to move around.
The sound - The rustle and crinkling of the sheet while moving is comforting and makes me feel like I am on holidays.
I just love these sheets.

Like another reviewer said, I have finally found the yummy, creamy, thick, white sheets I so fondly remember from my childhood! These are simply Beautiful! I love them! So comfortable and cozy! I also love the classy detail, the closure on the end of the pillowcases, so that you don’t see the pillow on (what-would-be) the open side of the pillow. Bravo 👏🏼 The Good Sheet! Extremely happy with my purchase
Besides being excellent quality the fitted 50cm Queen sheet is the only sheet I don’t struggle with to fit over my deeper mattress plus topper. The generous size enables me to make the bed easily. I am now more confident to buy the top sheet!

I was drawn to purchasing these sheets because of the great description about being reminiscent of staying at your grandmother’s house. :) And they have more than exceeded my expectations! You can pay a lot for sheets that are just okay. These are worth every penny. Love them!
A Step Back in Time
These sheets are just as they described “Grandma’s percale sheets”. Thank you to the good sheet for making what was not on the market anymore. I bought Coyuchi percale 8 years ago and these are a better quality. A little heavier and wider and less expensive than the Coyuchi. Ignore the thread count as they suggest. The finishing stitching is very nice and simple. I feel like I am in Provence!

Great to be able to tuck in a fitted sheet properly. These are undoubtably the best sheets that we have ever had, the quality is great.
Not heavyweight
I was looking for a much heavier fabric
Hi Laura, thank you for your review, sorry to see our fabric did not work for you. We appreciate your feedback though because it helps others know what to expect. If you are looking for a 'much heavier' fabric, you are probably not looking for percale, which is what our sheets are.
Percale is a plain weave fabric with a mid-to-high thread count which makes it beautifully crisp and smooth. This also means there is a limit to how thick the threads can be or else we wouldn't be able to fit them in a square inch. You can of course make thicker sheets by using a lower thread count and thicker yarn, but then they wouldn't be percale. You can also make sheets thicker by incorporating polyester (ours are 100% cotton), or using a different weave altogether, such as sateen, which can be woven thicker than percale. And then there are sheets which use multiple plied threads, although not necessarily good quality cotton - they can be made quite thick, but not very breathable and they often tend to pill. So, in short, our sheets are at the heavy end of percale, but they are definitely not the heaviest sheets you can buy. If thickness is your primary criterion, we'd suggest searching for a low thread count plain weave, a polycotton mix or high thread count sateen sheets. Hope that helps and I'm sorry ours weren't what you were looking for.

I never write reviews, but exceptions should be made. This is my second set of Heavyweight Percale sheets from the Good Sheet. The website is easy to work with, delivery was timely, the price is very fair, and most importantly the quality of the sheets is excellent. I hope the people of Good Sheets never lower their high standards as so many others have done. Five stars; every one of them.
Pillow cases were cut wrong
